Features of the NorthgateArinso Payroll Administration Service

  • All payments for leavers prorated to leave date, this includes prorating tax and PRSI if applicable
  • All payments for new starters prorated to start date and input of tax details if provided.
  • Calculation of back pay on salary arrears
  • Completion of P45s for all leavers
  • Input of all tax details for employees on receipt of P45s or tax certificates from The Revenue.
  • Input of all variable data
  • Input of all permanent payments or deductions for employees
  • Full check for all employees who have data changes to ensure that all changes have been captured.
  • Annual Schedule sent to the client in October of each year giving the payroll cut off dates.
  • Every quarter we will issue the client with a P35 reconciliation that we carry out after each payroll run.
  • File transmission to bank after sign off has been received from the client
  • Standard reports include gross to net, control summary, list of payments and deductions, etc.


Checklists sent to the client each payroll run include :

  1. Control Summary: This is a break down of all payments and deductions for the pay period and all figures are reconciled to reports.
  2. Checklist: This is a breakdown of all reports sent to the client in the pay period.
  3. P45 Checklist: This is a list by name of all leavers in the pay period and is to ensure that all P45s have been received.
  4. BACS Sign Off: This must be signed by the client before we transmit the file to the bank.
