Time and Attendance
Time and Attendance solutions allow staff to clock using electronic clocking terminals, a WEB browser, or directly from their PC. All methods allow for real time data availability and automatic calculation of hours, infringements etc.

We can accommodate numerous work patterns and different shift rotations. In addition, the software can automatically transfer all data to your payroll/HR systems and produce a vast array of management reports. Companies tend to experience a rapid return on investment. Savings include more accurate calculation of hours for payroll purposes and reduced labour costs involved in payroll calculations.

Flexi Time
With increasing interest in Work Life balance, more and more companies are choosing to introduce flexible working practices into their organisations. Utilising similar clocking methods as time and attendance, the solution gives staff and management flexibility over their working day. By specifying 'core' times an employee must be present, this allows the individual to build up a bank of time within pre-defined parameters. Companies and staff have realised numerous benefits from the introduction of flexi time systems.

Leave Management
The Leave Module allows you to set up unlimited Leave types, by Employee, Department, Supervisor etc. The Leave Module allows employee to request leave using a standard web browser or alternatively allows an employees supervisor\manager to book leave in advance for employees. The Leave Module provides information to Supervisors\Managers on leave balances, the employees who are booked on leave for any period and allows managers to authorize leave requests from employees.

Cost Centre Movement
This is a valuable solution where you need to allocate employees time against different cost centres, jobs or products. The software collects and processes data to provide appropriate time allocation to different cost centres. In addition to assisting management accounting, the system ensures optimum use of human resources.

Performance Indicators
The graphing module allows you to display employee, department, supervisor etc information on a monthly or yearly chart showing Leave, Absence and Overtime trends. Supervisors\Managers find this module extremely useful for controlling manning levels within their department. The module will highlight to the supervisor\manager employees who have requested or booked leave in advance and highlight to them that there is a shortage of key staff in any particular area.

Alerts and Scheduler
One of the major new features of Optimum is the Alerts and Scheduler module. It is possible to set up alerts in the system that will automatically notify authorised users of events. It is possible to alert against many of the key activities in Optimum. For instance:

• Alert supervisor of employee late arrivals
• Alert supervisor of employee exceeding a set number of core infringements in a rolling period
• Alert HR of an employee drawing close to working hours in excess of Working Time Act directive guidelines
• Alert HR/Supervisors of an employees’ retirement/appraisal/birth date
• Alert HR of employees reaching end of contract periods
  In relation to the system scheduler, this provides the ability to schedule any report to run for any individual, supervisor or manager at a preordained time. For example:
   

• Schedule a report on late arrivals for the day to be printed overnight for the supervisor at their local printer

• Schedule a departmental summary report for a department head to arrive on their email once a month
